About Di Ann Sanchez:

Di Ann Sanchez, SPHR is the founder of DAS HR Consulting LLC, has over 25 years of experience and has held executive Human Resources positions with both private and public companies including:

• Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
• United Natural Foods, Inc.
• Boeing Commercial Airplane Group
• American Airlines
• Delta Technology

Awards and Recognitions:
In 2000, Ms. Sanchez’s Human Resources group at Delta Technology won Atlanta’s Society of Human Resource Management HR Professional Excellence Award. She was named by Hispanic Business magazine as one of the “Top 50 Hispanic Women in Business” in 2001, and as one of the “Top 80 Elite Hispanic Women” in 2002, and “Top 100 Latinas in America” in 2003 and 2004. In July 2002, she was highlighted in the Hispanic Journal Magazine recognizing her accomplishments in Human Resources and Diversity at American Airlines. In 2007 she was featured in “USA Today” seeking to improve the current process of employment verification, and encouraging comprehensive immigration reform.

Education:
Ms. Sanchez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, and is currently pursuing her PHD in Organizational Management and Human Resources from Capella University.

Volunteerism:
Ms. Sanchez develops test questions for the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and is active in The Society of Human Resources (SHRM) on various volunteer panels and most recently served on the “HR Initiative for a Legal Workforce”. Furthermore, she currently serves as an active advisor for “Grab the Torch,” a national non-profit organization teaching the next generation the art of giving and philanthropy.
