General Position Summary:

We are currently hiring a dedicated, detail-oriented Sales Design Consultant with a passion for interior design and a love for working with sophisticated clientele. Our number one goal is to make our clients feel like our friends and family; therefore, customer service is most important. Candidates should possess great style, an eye for design, strong sales skills, and exceptional customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to high-end clientele.
  • Apply professional, assertive, and consultative sales skills while providing consistent, inspirational, and creative customer experiences.
  • Develop and establish client relationships as it relates to selling luxury home furnishings and accessories.
  • Provide excellent and professional communications to clients, the design team, and management.
  • Desire to acquire and maintain a strong interest in and knowledge of the luxury home and design industry.
  • Promptly resolve any customer concerns or issues, or escalate to the appropriate team member.
  • Maintain store visual and brand merchandising standards, including merchandise and showroom cleaning and appearance.
  • Maintain pristine showroom appearance and perform necessary housekeeping tasks.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of interior design experience in a high-end or luxury retail store preferred.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for beautiful interiors.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record, preferably in luxury interior design.
  • Exceptional in collaborating with other team members – listening, reading social queues, and accommodating clients and team members are extremely important.
  • As a member of our small team, must be a self-starter who takes the initiative to complete daily tasks quickly.
  • Creativity is a must: thinking outside the box, making the impossible possible, and going above and beyond with pleasure.
  • Excellent computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work on other duties as assigned.
  • Grammar and legible handwriting skills are important.
  • Math skills are necessary.
  • Willingness to work some Saturdays regularly as part of the full-time schedule.
